GOOSEBUMPS

When Zach, a teenager boy, moves from the city to a small town there is some good news: his new neighbour is a nice girl called Hannah. But Hannah's father is the mysterious author R.L. Stine, and soon the monsters from Stine's Goosebumps books escape and start to terrorize the town! Can Zach and Hannah get the monsters back into their books?

Hi Sam,

We're in Paris! We've been here for 5 days and it's great. Have you ever been? I can't believe the week has passed so quickly. We've done lots of different things that I've enjoyed. I've gone to the centre every day, eaten at different restaurants and also visited the Eiffel Tower.

I've also visited Eurodisney. We arrived at 10 o'clock. There were so many people, that I missed my family. I took hours to find there. The experience was very funny! The rest of the day was perfect.

I haven't gone tot he Louvre Museum, because we haven't time, and I don't like museums.

WRITING ABOUT A SPORT EVENT

Last May, I was in an interesting event on the C.E. Banyoles Stadium. I played a match with my friend's against Breda.

It was a very important match. We played against the 1^st of the classification. At the beginning of the match we were very nervous, and in the minute 20 we were losing 0 – 2. Then, we scored two goals before the half time. In the second part we scored two more goals and we won the match. The end result was 4 – 2.

After the match, everyone stayed very happy. Finally we went to celebrate the victory together.

WRITING

Last 11^th of September I went to Barcelona with my parents, my uncle, my cousins and my aunt becuase it was the National day of Catalonia.

We arrived at Barcelona at 3.p.m by bus. I was exited because there were many people. Everyone brought flags, caps, T-shirts with the colours of the Catalan flag... We walked a lot because our place was far from the bus stop. When I was at my place everyone started to sing different songs about Catalonia like “Els Segadors” or others. There were so many people that I couldn't see almost anything. I felt very pround of my country. There were people of all ages.

The event finished at 7 p.m. I was tired because I walked a lot. The event was amazing. I enjoyed very much these days because it was an important day.

London is a city in the south east of England. Its name was Londinium in Roman times. The population in Roman Times was about 45,000 people. The population is about 7,5 million now.

There are places in London with the names of important people in history: Trafalgar Square commemorates the battle of Trafalgar. Victoria Street commemorates Queen Victory.

The people of London are called Londoners or Cockneys. Famous Londoners include Charlie Chaplin and Arthur Conan Doyle. Charles Chaplin was an actor. Arthur Conan Doyle was a writer of Sherlock Holmes stories.

BARCELONA

Barcelona is a city in the north of Spain. Its name was Barcino in Roman Times. The population in Roman Times was about 6,000. The population is about 1.611.822 million now.

There are places in Barcelona with the names of important people in history: Monument of Cristòfol Colon and Lluís Companys Stadium. Monument of Cristòfol Colon commemorates the discovery of America. Lluís Companys Stadium commemorates one of the most important presidents of Catalonia.

The people of Barcelona are called Barcelonins.

Famous Barcelonins include Josep Carreras and Gerard Piqué. Josep Carreras is an opera singer. Gerard Piqué is a football star.

WRITING FOX

The animal in this photo are fox. Adults fox are 10 kg. They are 80 centimetres long. Fox live in forests of Europe and North America. Fox usually eat rabbits, mousse, birds, fish, mole and insects. Females have two – eight cubs. Now a days there are less forests than before. People get killed by foxes skin clothing.
